Chandon unveils the "Chandon Rosé Spring Edition 2020," a perfect complement to the season.
In Japan, the custom of appreciating the spring season, known as 'Hana no En' during the Heian period and later evolving into 'Ohanami,' has been a cherished tradition for centuries.
This celebration of spring's arrival has been beautifully depicted in art forms such as waka poetry and ukiyo-e prints, capturing moments of joy amidst gentle spring breezes, the vibrant hues of cherry blossoms, and contemplative evenings under the moonlight.
The "Chandon Rosé Spring Edition 2020" is a Japan-exclusive design bottle that embodies the joy of cherishing these beautiful spring moments, deeply ingrained in the Japanese spirit since the Heian era.
The design was crafted by art director Kaoru Mizuno.
Infused with Japanese aesthetics, the design merges traditional Japanese sensibilities with Chandon's signature modernity, evoking the spirit of 'Hana no En'.
The colorful fan at the center of the bottle symbolizes Chandon's crisp, refined palate and the prismatic light of spring.
It also features a depiction of a woman in a kimono enjoying Chandon, symbolizing the brand's commitment to both tradition and innovation. The flowing kimono, rendered with modern elegance, gracefully captures the gentle spring breeze.
