Reproduction of Masterpiece Furniture Debuts in Japan

Fuglen is a popular cafe that proposes a lifestyle integrating high-quality coffee, cocktails, vintage furniture, and interior design, originating from Oslo, Norway. In 2012, they opened their first overseas store in Tokyo. Its fruity coffee and Norwegian-style space incorporating vintage elements garnered significant attention.



This limited-time cafe will feature the Japanese debut of reproductions of masterpiece furniture, which were showcased at the vintage furniture exhibition "NORWEGIAN ICONS" held in Norway this June, as part of the interior design. Using Norwegian masterpieces and newly reproduced chairs, benches, and lighting items, the space will blend old and new Norwegian designs from the 1940s to the 2010s. Orders for the reproduced furniture will also be accepted during the period.



The "Nordic Modern Collection" held at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building proposes a Nordic living style that creates a warm atmosphere with designs loved across generations. A wide variety of items, from used and vintage furniture and tableware to accessories for Christmas, will be available.



Fuglen is also scheduled to appear at the "Hanshin Nordic Fair 2013" held at Hanshin Umeda Main Store from Wednesday, December 4th to Tuesday, December 10th, and the "Nordic Fair" held at Daimaru Sapporo Store from Wednesday, December 11th to Thursday, December 19th.
