This Christmas at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, features not only essential Christmas cakes and stollen, including two new creations, but also an advent calendar for enjoying a countdown with small surprises, and original chocolates. These items, recommended as gifts for children or as souvenirs, vividly color the 2020 festive season.

Four Types of Christmas Cakes and Stollen
The "Maple Mascarpone" features a moist sponge cake infused with cinnamon and anise, layered with dried figs, apricots, almond-flavored sponge, and strawberry jelly. The entire cake is enveloped in a maple-flavored mascarpone mousse, finished with a vibrant crimson hue to adorn any table.
The marriage of berries and fruits, with their balanced sweetness and acidity, and the mascarpone mousse is also recommended for adult moments enjoyed with a drink.

The popular "Bûche de Noël" is presented as a Mont Blanc, made with Japanese and French chestnuts. Thinly baked crepe pieces for "Praline Fiandine," chocolate-flavored "Biscuit Chocolat," and syrup-candied chestnuts are hidden within for textural accents, topped with walnut-flavored sponge, cassis jam, and vanilla mousse. Mont Blanc cream made from Japanese and French chestnuts is used on top.
This "Bûche de Noël" offers a rich chestnut flavor, perfectly complemented by the tartness of cassis and a variety of textures.

The "Maple Stollen" uses a maple-flavored dough mixed with dried fruits such as figs, raisins, mango, papaya, melon, kiwi, and strawberries, all soaked in rum, along with almonds and walnuts. It's a stollen with a variety of flavors and textures.
The "Ruby Chocolate Stollen" is baked with dried figs, apricots, cranberries, and raisins, soaked in cranberry juice, along with almonds and hazelnuts, all within a dough infused with ruby chocolate. This pink stollen adds an extra touch of elegance to your table.
