Special Menu Created Using Canned Mackerel Fillets
Born in Korea and later adopted into France, Pierre Sang is a rising star chef. He bridges French and Korean cultures, drawing global culinary attention with his unique and complex dishes, unlike any other.
His restaurant, "Pierre Sang in Oberkampf," is a highly sought-after establishment in Paris, the gastronomic capital of France, drawing crowds and queues daily.
This pop-up restaurant is made possible in collaboration with "Le Pre Verre," an Omotesando-based bistronomy restaurant that has previously introduced renowned chefs like Christophe Beaufront and Sylvain Sendra to Japan. For the menu, Pierre Sang has crafted special dishes using "La Cantine," a gourmet canned mackerel fillet that will be released in the Japanese market for the first time.
Regarding this pop-up restaurant, Pierre Sang commented, "I believe life is enriched by the encounters between people. Through my cooking, I always aim to create a space for those encounters. I hope many people will experience the taste of Pierre Sang, and that this flavor will become a catalyst for connections and new meetings."
He also expressed confidence about the menu using "La Cantine," stating, "I've incorporated abundant Japanese ingredients, rich in flavor and umami. I believe we can offer a new taste that people have never encountered before."
This is a chance to savor the cuisine of a chef leading Paris's gourmet scene. Don't miss out, as it's only available for one month.
