This autumn marks the 6th anniversary of "Royal Dragon," the Chinese restaurant at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, known for its authentic Cantonese cuisine. To celebrate, a special menu featuring luxurious ingredients like Shanghai hairy crab and shark's fin will be available until Thursday, October 31st.

"Royal Dragon," a popular dining spot at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, celebrated its 6th anniversary in September. The restaurant offers an authentic taste in a chic, mahogany-paneled space overlooking a garden. Head Chef Takashi Yasukawa, who trained in Taiwan, is renowned for his clear and exquisite *shangtang* soup, attracting many loyal fans.

To commemorate this milestone, "Royal Dragon" is currently hosting a special fair featuring a limited-time menu crafted by Chef Yasukawa himself, using carefully selected, fresh ingredients to perfect traditional flavors. The anniversary menu, available for both lunch and dinner, is truly luxurious.

The "6th Anniversary Lunch" course begins with the chef's signature soup. The rich *shangtang* soup, infused with the delicate flavor of white fish and a hint of tomato acidity, is a delightful start. Alongside classic Peking duck and exquisite dim sum, the main dish is a braised shark's fin featuring the rich roe of Shanghai hairy crab, a seasonal specialty. It's a diverse menu offering a generous taste of authentic flavors.

The luxurious "6th Anniversary Dinner" showcases premium Chinese ingredients, including a melt-in-your-mouth braised shark's fin and a whole Ezo abalone. The main meat dish features tender Hitachi beef thigh, stir-fried with colorful seasonal vegetables and *furu* (fermented tofu) to enhance its umami. The meal concludes with a refreshing dessert made with rare bird's nest, offering a unique texture. This satisfying course is a celebration of both land and sea.
