The change of Dom Pérignon's Chef de Cave has been announced. To mark this milestone, "Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 Legacy Edition Gift Box," a culmination of the work of current Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy and the incoming Vincent Chaperon, has been released.

Release of "Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 Legacy Edition Gift Box"
Dom Pérignon announces the "Legacy of Succession," signifying a change in its Chef de Cave. On January 1, 2019, Vincent Chaperon will assume the role of the new Chef de Cave.
Chaperon has been mentored by the current Chef de Cave, Richard Geoffroy, since 2005. The succession of the Chef de Cave marks a significant milestone in Dom Pérignon's history.
Geoffroy was appointed Chef de Cave of Dom Pérignon in 1990 and, as the Maison's creator, has pursued aesthetic ideals while safeguarding its heritage and traditions.
Chaperon has been involved with Dom Pérignon since 2005, possessing expertise, experience, and a strong commitment to meeting high standards. He strives to deepen his knowledge of terroir and enhance his ability to control wine fermentation and vinification.
He values not only his professional knowledge and experience but also a challenging attitude that embraces risk. The interplay of these elements will pave the way for new possibilities for the Maison.
Coinciding with this "Legacy of Succession," the limited edition "Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 Legacy Edition Gift Box" is being released. It represents the culmination of a collaboration between Geoffroy and Chaperon.
The gift box features the signatures of both individuals, and the label is a special gold-colored edition bearing their names, signifying its exceptional nature.
Returning to the origins of vintage Champagne, this is a Champagne that can be described as a "paradoxically new classic," a fusion of Geoffroy's refined, comprehensive knowledge and Chaperon's bold intuition.
