A Rare Rosé Champagne to Enjoy from Start to Finish

Since its founding in 1882, Maison Mumm has continued to craft champagnes that weave together exceptional terroir (the growing environment for grapes, including soil, climate, and land) and traditional techniques. The RSRV line is positioned as the pinnacle of Maison Mumm's champagnes. The four letters RSRV represent a code bestowed only upon truly outstanding wines by Chief Winemaker Didier Mariotti.

Now, "Maison Mumm RSRV Rosé Fujita," an homage to the painter Léonard Foujita, has been born into the RSRV line, the culmination of the tradition the Maison has long preserved. Maison Mumm and Léonard Foujita were connected through mutual friends in Paris. At the request of René Lalou, who was then president of Maison Mumm, Foujita painted a rose, and his depiction of the rose still adorns the bottleneck of the champagne bottles today.

"Maison Mumm RSRV Rosé Fujita" is an elegant rosé crafted from a blend of six Grand Cru vineyards owned by Maison Mumm. The blend of Chardonnay from Cramant and Avize, Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Bouzy, and Verzenay, along with red wine from the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, imparts aromas of red and black fruits, along with power, fruitiness, and richness.

This vibrant salmon-pink cuvée offers aromas reminiscent of baked vanilla pastries, with subtle notes of ripe berries and strawberries, and a palate that conveys a richness akin to red wine. Among the many rosé champagnes available, this is a rare one that can be enjoyed with meals throughout an entire dining experience, from the beginning to the end.

The production volume of Maison Mumm champagnes is very limited, and consequently, the number of restaurants that offer them is also restricted. If you happen to see it on a menu, we highly recommend you try it.
