Workshops with Dinner Also Held on October 11th and 18th

Dean & DeLuca, a select shop for food that opened in New York in 1977 with the theme "LIVING WITH FOOD – Eating is Savoring Life," currently operates 13 stores in Japan, including in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kobe, offering richness that supports a high-quality lifestyle.

"Working Ware, Delicious Plates," held to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Dean & DeLuca Roppongi, will exhibit and sell works by 15 artisans selected by Tomomi Shoken, who runs "Utsuwa Shoken," an organization that promotes the beauty of eating utensils through exhibitions across the country.

The collection features simple, beautiful, and beloved plates, including those with kohiki, sometsuke, mishima, iron glaze, green glaze, and colored enamel finishes. It's a chance to find tableware that you can use casually every day and that will embrace any dish.

Additionally, on Thursday, October 11th and Thursday, October 18th, starting at 7:00 PM, Tomomi Shoken will lead a workshop titled "A Workshop to Love Pottery More, and a Meal Enjoyed with One Plate." This event involves experiencing various artists' pottery, learning about selection and appreciation from Shoken, and then enjoying a Dean & DeLuca deli plate served on the pottery. It's a dinner event designed to deepen your appreciation for pottery through seeing, touching, and tasting.

In this bountiful autumn season, we hope you'll find your favorite piece of pottery and savor a feast that highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients.
