Introducing "Blanc de Blancs," a new addition to Perrier-Jouët's classic line. It will be released in Japan on Monday, April 3, 2017, before anywhere else in the world. Made with 100 percent Chardonnay, it offers a refreshingly crisp taste.

Made with 100% Select Chardonnay
Since its founding in 1811, Perrier-Jouët has upheld tradition and craftsmanship, earning its reputation as "a work of art in Champagne" with its elegant style and bottles adorned with anemones designed by Émile Gallé.
In 1846, it produced the world's first Brut (dry) Champagne. Since then, the classic line's "Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut" has been offered with the same consistent taste year after year, representing the house's signature Champagne.
Now, "Blanc de Blancs," made with 100 percent Chardonnay, a white grape varietal, is newly added to the classic line.
This cuvée, created by the seventh Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps using only carefully selected Chardonnay, expresses the freshness characteristic of Chardonnay, with a delicate, floral profile.
The addition of a small amount of reserve wine (up to 15 percent) and a light dosage (8g/L) results in a taste that bursts with crispness and lightness.
The bottle differs from the existing classic line, featuring a clear glass. It allows the beautiful golden hue, with its subtle green undertones from the Chardonnay, to shine through unadulterated.
Participating in "France Week"
Perrier-Jouët will participate in "France Week," an event offering a taste of French culinary culture and lifestyle, held at Isetan Shinjuku from Wednesday, April 12 to Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
During the event, a limited quantity of the Japan-exclusive "Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs" will be available for purchase, along with other Perrier-Jouët selections.
Additionally, seminars hosted by brand ambassadors will be held in the event space on the 6th floor of the main building. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the world of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and be among the first to savor "Blanc de Blancs."
