On Tuesday, March 14th, White Day, Volvo Car Japan will open a one-night-only mobile restaurant, "All-Star Restaurant," which will complete a full course by visiting renowned restaurants in Tokyo with the flagship SUV "XC90 Excellence." One pair of guests will be invited.

XC90 Excellence Collaborates with Food Delivery Service "UberEATS"


"All-Star Restaurant" is a collaboration between Volvo's first four-seater luxury SUV, the "XC90 Excellence," and the food delivery service "UberEATS," which launched in Japan last year. The interior of the "XC90 Excellence" will be transformed into a high-end restaurant, offering an "ultimate full course" that transcends culinary genres.


The "XC90 Excellence," released last summer, is based on the seven-seater SUV "XC90" and was developed with the assumption of being driven by a chauffeur. The two independent rear seats have the same functions as the front seats, and the seat design prioritizes ride comfort. Furthermore, it is equipped with folding tables usable by each of the two seats, as well as cup and bottle holders with heating and cooling functions.

"All-Star Restaurant," which will be "open" for one night only on White Day, is supervised by culinary expert Yukio Hattori. In collaboration with restaurants registered on "UberEATS," it features a selection of currently trending restaurants. Guests can enjoy the dishes while touring the restaurants serving each course and the night view spots of Tokyo.


The menu consists of a total of seven dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The amuse-bouche is "Ikura, Uni, and Caviar Ochoko Donburi Set of 3" from "Juban Ukai." The appetizer salad is a chopped salad from "Crisp Salad Works." The soup is the luxurious Chinese soup "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall" from "Shinbashi Tei," made with an abundance of seafood and mountain ingredients.


The main courses include "Sole Meunière Albert Style" from "Chez Noi" and "Aged Porterhouse Steak" from "RUSTEAK'S." For dessert, the menu features the signature jelly "Pomelmo" from "Chianti" and the chocolate dessert "Mini Chocolate Chunk Pizza" from "Max Brenner," offering a diverse yet exquisite course that allows guests to savor the culinary delights of Tokyo.


Applications can be made through the special "All-Star Restaurant" website. Applications are accepted until Sunday, March 5th, and one pair of winners will be selected by lottery.
