ART | Volvo Supports the Dalí Collection
The Morohashi Museum of Modern Art Hosts "VOLVO × ART"
A special one-day event, titled "VOLVO × ART" at the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art, will be held at the world-renowned Morohashi Museum of Modern Art, home to the Dalí Collection.

The First "VOLVO x ART" Project
Located in the "Ura-Bandai" area of Fukushima Prefecture, the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art is famous for housing a vast collection of works by Salvador Dalí, one of the 20th century's most celebrated artistic geniuses. The collection, comprising 341 pieces including paintings, sculptures, and prints, is considered one of the top three Dalí collections globally, alongside the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Spain and the Dalí Museum in Florida, USA.
Meanwhile, Volvo Car Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of the Swedish automaker Volvo, has launched the "VOLVO x ART" project to support unique museums and art galleries across the country. For its inaugural initiative, Volvo has partnered with the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art, leading to this special event.
On November 2nd (Sunday), designated as "Volvo Day," the renowned "P1800," a stylish coupe launched by Volvo in the 1960s, and the latest SUV model, theXC60", and the sporty hatchback "V40" will be specially exhibited outdoors. Furthermore, admission to the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art will be free, and the first 400 visitors will receive a complimentary pull-back car.
