Sendai Tanabata Sake Festival: Accessible from the Tokyo Metropolitan Area
On August 7th (Sunday), during the historic Sendai Tanabata Festival, brewers and retailers involved in promoting Japanese sake, known as "Wajowaraku," along with 45 supporting breweries, will gather in Sendai. Under the theme "Sendai Tanabata Sake Festival" ~The Power of Japan: Revitalizing with Sake~, a sake banquet will be held at the Koyoh Grand Hotel. This year, in partnership with Nippon Travel, participants can choose between a "Sendai Day Trip Tour" from Tokyo, or a "1-Night, 2-Day" course that includes viewing the Tanabata festival and participating in volunteer activities in the disaster-stricken areas, with accommodation at a ryokan in Matsushima.
