Due to Popular Demand, a Second Chico SHIGETA x uka x ukafe "chicovege" Event is Planned

The vegan offerings at ukafe are part of a Monday evening event that proposes "beauty from within" for busy, indulgent, and ambitious women. It's an opportunity for vegans and non-vegans alike to experience the deliciousness, joy, and surprise of vegan food through "ukavege."

On May 23rd, a joint event "chicovege" was held with Chico SHIGETA, founder of "SHIGETA," and Kiho Watanabe. Reservations for the first 30 guests were filled instantly.

The theme of the talk between Chico SHIGETA and Kiho Watanabe was "Women Who Eat Vegetables Are Beautiful! Recommendations for a Vegetable Lifestyle to Achieve Radiant, Dewy Beauty." Chico SHIGETA shared secrets for achieving beauty through vegetables in response to Kiho Watanabe's simple questions about the relationship between vegetables and beauty, and why vegetables are essential.

The "chicovege course" featured three types of Chico salads, ukafe enzyme brown rice bowls, Detox minestrone, vege sweets, and a refreshing cucumber smoothie. The salads included recipes from Chico's book, "Détox 100% Vitalité," released in France in January. The salad was so delicious it changed the very concept of vegetables for many, and the talk event on achieving beauty concluded with great success.
