The special menu, "more trees menu," featuring seasonal delicacies, had been available for a limited time until November 30th at "TRATTORIA BREBIS," the restaurant located on the B1 floor of BARNEYS NEW YORK.BARNEYS NEW YORKDue to its popularity, the dinner course has been extended to December 16th, and the lunch course to December 25th.

The limited-time "more trees menu" at "Trattoria Brebis," located on the B1 floor of BARNEYS NEW YORK Yokohama, was realized through a collaboration with more trees as part of the "GREEN IS GROOVY “GO GREEN GO”" project, launched to commemorate the 20th anniversary of BARNEYS NEW YORK's arrival in Japan, and has been running since October 8th.
This culinary collaboration, which was also well-received during a similar initiative at the French restaurant "Restaurant-I" in Harajuku, Tokyo, in May of this year, operates on a system where a portion of the proceeds is donated to more trees and utilized for forest conservation activities.
This special menu features vegetables, mushrooms, and beef harvested from Komoro City in Nagano Prefecture, Oguni Town in Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Nakatosa Town in Tosa District, Kochi Prefecture, where "more trees forests" are located. The recommended options are the "more trees Lunch Course" and the "more trees Dinner Course."
The lunch course, priced at 3000 yen, is a generous offering with soup, appetizer, risotto, pasta, main dish, and dessert! The dinner menu, at 6000 yen, includes three appetizers, one risotto, two pastas, a main dish, and dessert. Both courses provide a fulfilling experience where you can fully savor the bounty of the forest.
Additionally, an à la carte menu is available, allowing you to enjoy dishes individually. Furthermore, each menu comes with a special pair of more trees chopsticks made from thinned wood, which you can take home as a souvenir. This initiative allows you to contribute to Japan's forest conservation while indulging in delicious food. In an era where actions for the forest are often perceived as grand gestures, initiatives like this, which everyone can enjoy, are invaluable. It's worth at least "one meal."
