Special Events on the 24th (Fri) and 25th (Sat)

Snow Shoveling, a bookstore and gallery located in Komazawa, Setagaya. With a concept centered on providing encounters with "people, objects, and ideas," they offer not only books but also miscellaneous goods, furniture, and various other items to enrich daily life.

This "Zine Sonic 2014" event is being held at "BRICK & MORTAR" in Nakameguro. Zines are non-commercial publications created freely by individuals.

They bring zines, directly sourced from artists and independent publishers encountered at the "NY ART BOOKS FESTIVAL 2014" held annually at MoMA PS1, to Tokyo with exceptional freshness. Additionally, they offer a wide array of items imbued with the spirit of New York, including one-of-a-kind antiques found at the "Brooklyn Flea" market and exclusive tote bags from bookstores and shops.


Special events will also be held on Friday, October 24th, and Saturday, October 25th. In addition to new zine arrivals, Snow Shoveling owner Shuichi Nakamura will be present. On Friday evening, gin and tonic will be served, and on Saturday afternoon, ginger ale will be available, allowing visitors to discover their favorite zines in a relaxed atmosphere.
