Quark, renowned as a specialist in vintage Rolex watches, has released a luxurious, limited-edition book of 500 copies, published by Bijutsu Shuppan, featuring rare vintage Rolex timepieces from its collection. These watches are too precious to be sold, kept as non-sale items, and have been shown only to select enthusiasts by appointment.

This Art Book Itself May Become a Coveted Rarity
Vintage Rolex watches are garnering increasing attention, with a record-breaking auction sale of approximately 2 billion yen at Phillips Auctions just two years ago. Like cars and designer furniture, enthusiasts worldwide meticulously study the subtle differences in details, immersing themselves in the world of these timepieces.
Vintage Rolex items are treated with a distinction separate from antique models of other brands, akin to those from Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin.
This lavish volume, "ART of ROLEX," produced by Bijutsu Shuppan, showcases
100 meticulously photographed pieces selected from the museum collection of Quark, a world-leading specialist in vintage Rolex. The author is Hiroyuki Sasaki, representative of Crown Meister's, a group of Rolex specialist repair craftsmen, and curator of the Quark Museum.
This book, which views vintage Rolex watches as works of art, presents a collection coveted by enthusiasts from various angles, using exceptionally beautiful photography. It even includes a particularly noteworthy model, said to be a phantom piece created by Franck Muller during his student days.
