Regarding his latest book, 'Deco Room with Plants,' Kawamoto shares a special message for OPENERS readers: "Many people must enjoy growing plants on their balconies or indoors, even if they don't have a garden. Having greenery in your line of sight enriches your spirit. However, some may struggle with creating their desired green space or wonder how to care for plants.
The charm of plants lies in witnessing their growth. They change in form and condition, and can even get sick. Because they are living things, they require seriousness, but that's precisely what makes it enjoyable. This book is filled with ideas to help you find your own way of interacting with greenery."

Kawamoto works as a garden stylist, advocating a unique style that showcases the inherent natural beauty and aging of greenery. He operates four stores in Tokyo under his direction and engages in a wide range of styling activities beyond just plants, including magazine serializations, workshops at his stores, and spatial styling for department stores and other shops. In recent years, he has also held solo exhibitions expressing the beauty of greenery from his unique perspective, pioneering fields that allow people to feel a richer, more intimate connection with plants.
