Alphonse Mucha, the artist who defined the elegant and vibrant decorative art style known as Art Nouveau. "Alphonse Mucha's World: A Journey to Two Fairylands" chronicles Mucha's life, from Paris's Belle Époque to his later years in America and return to his beloved homeland, the Czech Republic, all through his beautiful artworks.

His distinctive style is characterized by the use of flowing, ornate curves to depict subjects such as stars, flowers, and women. This collection showcases numerous decorative panels, posters, and illustrations created in this manner.

Author: Hiroshi Unno
Born in Tokyo in 1939. Critic and author. After graduating from Waseda University with a degree in Russian Literature, he worked at Heibonsha, serving as editor-in-chief of "Taiyo" before becoming an independent writer. His work spans a wide range of fields, including art, film, music, literature, urban studies, and fashion.
