20 Popular Selections Reissued for a Limited Time
Born in 2007, Bulgari Il Cioccolato named its chocolates "Chocolate Gems," likening them to precious stones. All "Chocolate Gems" are meticulously handcrafted one by one by dedicated chocolatiers in the atelier located in the Bulgari Ginza Tower.
This retrospective exhibition features a curated selection of 100 original flavors from its extensive archives, presented in their revived forms. The exhibition is structured around five categories—"Blossom," "Gianduja," "Ingredients of Italian Gastronomy," "Japanese," and "Limited Chocolate Gems & Boxes"—informed by the history of chocolate and food culture. The curator is Mika Ogura, a scholar of food culture and chocolate.
Combinations such as matcha and the Italian liqueur limoncello, or white truffle and chestnut—a highly acclaimed pairing in Italy—are among the diverse chocolates created in the past that are reappearing. The exhibition offers a journey through the history of Bulgari Il Cioccolato, allowing visitors to savor the stories behind each unique flavor.
Furthermore, 20 of the 100 exhibited chocolates will be available for a limited reissue sale until Saturday, January 31st. As they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, those interested are advised to visit early.
