His exhibition, 'Sonic,' is currently on display in Paris until January 11th (Sunday) of next year.

The Rock Scene Through Hedi Slimane's Lens
Born in Paris in 1968 to a Tunisian father and an Italian mother, Hedi Slimane received a camera as a gift from his parents for his 11th birthday, which sparked his interest in photography. While currently active as a fashion designer, Slimane, who is deeply interested in rock music, captures a wide range of subjects, from portraits of rock artists and their performances to fashion magazine shoots and Californian landscapes. His work is periodically published on his website (www.hedislimane.com). He has also published several photo books, expressing his passion for photography in various forms.
He personally oversees all of Saint Laurent's advertising visuals, expressing the maison's seasonal concepts through his unique style. Furthermore, the 'Saint Laurent Music Project,' a series of portrait campaigns featuring rock stars wearing the maison's collections and iconic pieces, is also spearheaded by Slimane.
This exhibition showcases a collection of monochrome works shot in New York, London, and his base in Los Angeles, drawn from his 15-year archive of rock artist portraits. Renowned artists such as Lou Reed, Keith Richards, and Amy Winehouse are featured as subjects. The venue will also screen documentary footage capturing the music scenes of London and Los Angeles. We invite you to discover the creativity of photographer Hedi Slimane.
