Discover and Find the Photographs You Desire at the "AXIS PHOTO MARCHE"

You love photography, but purchasing it feels a bit intimidating… To address this, the first "AXIS PHOTO MARCHE" is being held at Axis Gallery from October 15th (Wednesday), offering a space where you can easily find the photographs you desire, with participation from numerous galleries that lead the art photography world, making it a place to "casually buy photographs."

Numerous Works Available, from ¥30,000 and Up

A photo market (marche) is being held, bringing together photo galleries with a discerning eye for photography, showcasing hidden gems including works by emerging and new photographers.

Prices range from ¥30,000 to higher-end pieces, but the quality is guaranteed, as expected from galleries at the forefront of the art photography scene.

Additionally, the venue will feature an exhibition and sale of outstanding works from last year's Gelatin Silver Session (GSS) Photo Awards. Yuichi Ikeda's "ShimakaZe," a prize-winning piece, captures the island of Sado, visited over two years through its changing seasons. It portrays not only the unique ancient traditions, beliefs, performing arts, and festivals but also the melancholic yet gentle atmosphere that permeates the island.
