Group Exhibition "THE STREET GOES ON" at IMA Gallery

This group exhibition, "THE STREET GOES ON," showcases street photography by artists from Japan and abroad. It will be held at IMA Gallery in Roppongi from Saturday, June 28, to Sunday, August 10.

A Flea Market and Other Events During the Exhibition Period

IMA Gallery, located within the IMA Concept Store, opened in March as a multifaceted space offering a real experience of enjoying photography. This exhibition, the third in a series of special shows, presents a captivating display of street photography by artists from Japan and abroad.

The exhibition features works by master Stephen Shore, Peter Sutherland, whose reputation has grown significantly in recent years, and Lorenzo Vitturi, a young photographer gaining global attention. Japanese artists include Takashi Homma, Keizo Kitajima, known for his "PLACES" series of uninhabited landscapes, and Maiko Haruki. In conjunction with the latest issue of the photography magazine "IMA vol.8," the exhibition presents a challenging collection of works that connect the present and future of street photography, a genre in constant evolution.

Additionally, during the run of "THE STREET GOES ON," IMA Gallery will host "IMA Photo Market," a flea market within the IMA Concept Store. In collaboration with "PASS THE BATON," a select vintage recycle shop, the market will offer special sales of photobooks, posters, postcards, vintage photographs, and glass plates.

Furthermore, from Saturday, July 19, to Monday, July 21 (public holiday), a variety of events will be held, including a flea market featuring treasured items from renowned photographers and works by emerging artists, as well as workshops. This offers an opportunity to enjoy photography from multiple perspectives alongside "THE STREET GOES ON."
