Announcing "The Guest by Paul Smith"
The character "The Guest," created by artist Jaime Hayon for "LLADRÓ ATELIER," a new initiative by the Spanish luxury porcelain art brand "LLADRÓ," has been reimagined. Now, "The Guest by Paul Smith," designed by Paul Smith, has been announced. Ahead of its release at select Paul Smith flagship stores and Lladro boutiques worldwide (availability varies by country), it will be available from April 8th (Tuesday) at the Paul Smith Space in Jingumae, Tokyo, and the Lladro Boutique Ginza.

Exhibition Held at "Paul Smith Space Gallery"
"The Guest," a project by "Lladro Atelier," Lladro's new exploration of creativity, features an original character created by Spanish artist Jaime Hayon, which is then decorated by various guest designers. This marks Paul Smith's first foray into design as a fashion designer.
"The Guest by Paul Smith" expresses a situation where guests attend a festive masquerade ball, amidst falling confetti, wearing dog and cat masks. The character's body is adorned with confetti, evoking the lingering atmosphere of the party. The design is characterized by its unique and happy mood.
Mr. Paul Smith commented, "I wanted to create something that would continue to bring happiness when placed in one's home. Lladro's works are handcrafted in their own studio in Valencia, Spain. In today's world, where computers are widespread and mass production is the norm, I believe this is truly precious and wonderful."
This collection features two pieces, large and small, each with a different design. The 52cm version will be released as a limited edition of 250 pieces, while the 30cm version will be a numbered collection with a serial number. Pre-orders began on April 8th (Tuesday) at Paul Smith Space and Lladro Boutique Ginza for a worldwide exclusive sale. Furthermore, until May 6th (Tuesday, holiday), the Paul Smith Space Gallery in Jingumae, Tokyo, will host an exhibition and sale featuring "The Guest by Paul Smith" alongside previous Lladro "The Guest" pieces.
