Miyuki Matsuda's Exhibition of Life-Sized Photographs Captured with Sony's "α7" Opens
From Saturday, February 15th to Sunday, February 23rd, Miyuki Matsuda will present "FULL SIZE OF ME," an exhibition of life-sized expressions captured with Sony's full-frame interchangeable lens camera "α7," at Daikanyama Hillside Forum. The exhibition will feature 10 dynamic, life-sized portraits of individuals active in various fields.

Mika Nakashima graces the main visual; the stylish poster is also a must-see
This exhibition showcases works by Miyuki Matsuda, wife of the late Yusaku Matsuda, who is active as an actress, producer, and photographer. The photos were taken using the "α7," the world's first mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with a full-frame sensor, released by Sony late last year.
The subjects featured are VERBAL, Kaoru Uno, Nobuaki Kaneko, Ann Suzuki, Mika Nakashima, Riko Narumi, Fumi Nikaido, Masahiro Higashide, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, and Jun Murakami. The photographs, which capture even the subjects' real breath thanks to the full-frame sensor, are a must-see.
Miyuki Matsuda commented on the shoot, "No matter how high-performance a camera is, if it's large, its presence is too strong, making the subject aware of the camera. The smaller the camera, the more I can relax, close the distance with the subject, and draw out more emotion."
On Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd, professional photographer Toshio Sato, known for his work in major fashion magazines, will be present. A special event, "FULL SIZE OF ME Life-Sized Photo Session," will be held where visitors can have their own life-sized portraits taken. While participation requires a numbered ticket distributed on the day, the session is free. The resulting portraits will be printed and presented on the spot, offering a unique opportunity to encounter one's true self.
