Lectures, Workshops, and Talks Held Daily

IMA Media Project has long proposed diverse ways to enjoy photography, from the magazine "IMA" and its website "IMA ONLINE" to related events, seminars, and even fostering emerging photographers. Now, they are opening "IMA CONCEPT STORE" as a dedicated space for photography.

The 500-square-meter space is divided into three areas: a photography gallery, a bookshop, and a cafe. The gallery, where art photography can be casually purchased, will feature group and thematic exhibitions by emerging and international photographers, curated to offer an accessible enjoyment of photography. Daily lectures, workshops, and talks will also be held, creating opportunities to engage with and learn about photography from multiple perspectives.

The book corner boasts 2,000 titles, including overseas labels with limited distribution in Japan and rare photobooks, offering unique exhibitions that delve into the concepts and histories behind them. Additionally, photobooks suitable for interiors, collections, and gifts will be available. The cafe will serve coffee meticulously roasted by OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS, selected from around the world.

To commemorate the opening of "IMA CONCEPT STORE," a series of relay talks will be held, featuring conversations between photographers and artists active in various fields. The lineup promises to be a luxurious one, appealing to anyone with an appreciation for lifestyle, including art, fashion, design, music, architecture, literature, and gastronomy.
