Architects Ryuuichi Ashizawa and Takahiro Hiranuma Explore the Architects' Orientations

The "Architecture Lecture Series 217 [nie - ichi - nana]" was launched in fiscal year 2010. It aims to foster vibrant discussions by drawing out the originality of architects, considering the unique characteristics of the Osaka region, and serving as a platform for exchange among architects and inspiration for emerging designers.

Osaka-based architects Ryuuichi Ashizawa and Takahiro Hiranuma will serve as the main speakers. Every two months, starting at 7 PM, they will invite guest speakers to explore their architectural philosophies, the origins of their commissions, and their methods and approaches to their work. These sessions are designed to be candid and stimulating dialogues that delve into the core of each architect's vision.

Our aspiration is for this momentum to extend beyond Osaka and grow into a nationwide movement, further invigorating architectural design activities originating from Osaka.
