BOOKMARC, a unique bookstore curated by the New York-based fashion brand Marc Jacobs, has been a fixture in Harajuku for six years. Starting November 29th (Friday), an anticipated exhibition will be held within the store, reflecting the brand's distinct worldview.

When one mentions artist Koichiro Takagi (born 1974), the first image that likely comes to mind is his embroidered works featuring anthropomorphic animals. His pieces evoke a sense of duality—cuteness and ferocity, familiarity and unease, good and evil—leaving viewers captivated with an indescribable resonance.

The exhibition "NOT JUST GIRLS FUN," opening at BOOKMARC on November 29th, will showcase Takagi's works created since his 2015 publication "GLOOM." A new collection of his work will also be released in conjunction with the exhibition. The BOOKMARC exclusive special box includes a T-shirt and stickers as bonus items.
