Presents its First Exhibition in Japan: "OLD LETTERS FROM LONDON"
The first exhibition in Japan by East London-based letterpress studio "A TWO PIPE PROBLEM LETTERPRESS" (pronounced A Two Pipe Problem Letterpress), titled "OLD LETTERS FROM LONDON" (pronounced Old Letters From London), will be held from Saturday, June 15th to Monday, July 15th (public holiday) at the Paul Smith Space Gallery in Jingumae, Tokyo.

Unique Works Born from Analog Printing Methods
"A Two Pipe Problem Letterpress" is a letterpress studio founded in 2008 by Stephen Kenny, based in East London. It is known for its artistic prints using vintage wood type from the 1800s and 1900s, along with a printing press.
The studio's works, characterized by their balanced compositions and carefully chosen words, created by mixing its extensive collection of wood type, have gained significant popularity not only in the UK but also across Europe.
While involved in creating book covers for artists, record covers, and branding for corporations, they also release their own posters and greeting cards, with their works sold in museums, galleries, and at London's long-established department stores.
This exhibition will feature and sell past works, collaborations with Japanese artists, and new pieces created by applying letterpress prints onto Paul Smith's fabrics.
