Warm Works on Display

An exhibition of works by ceramic artist Yuko Okazaki is underway at Plain People Aoyama. This is the first solo exhibition held at this venue in two years.

This exhibition also includes pieces made with newly developed glazes. They are characterized by a moist texture, reminiscent of sugared sweets or a light dusting of snow. Complementing the glazes, the works possess a warm, inviting quality.



The exhibition showcases her signature white pieces, new interpretations of white, and black works. Within these serene and soft creations, Okazaki's artistic evolution is subtly revealed.
