"D’un jour à l’autre" (From One Day to the Next) Exhibition Held
A solo exhibition by French photographer Sarah Moon, "D’un jour à l’autre," will be held from Wednesday, April 4, to Sunday, May 4, 2018, at Chanel Nexus Hall in Ginza, Tokyo.

Collaboration Works Between Sarah Moon and Chanel Also on Display
Photographer Sarah Moon has been active at the forefront of the art world for over 30 years, making her one of the most talked-about photographers today.
She transitioned from modeling in the 1970s to begin her career as a photographer in fashion and advertising, working with top maisons, including Chanel. In 1985, she began creating her own artistic works and received the "Grand Prix de la Photographie de Paris" ten years later. She is also highly acclaimed as a filmmaker, crafting unique, dreamlike, and profound imagery.
The exhibition "D’un jour à l’autre," curated by Sarah Moon herself, will feature approximately 100 works, including new pieces and those never before shown in Japan, all centered around the theme of "the flow of time" that she has explored throughout her 30-year artistic career.

and natural landscapes—her unique world of art, which hints at the ephemerality of time and evokes memories and nostalgia in the viewer's heart, is sure to captivate.
Regarding her work, Sarah Moon has said, "What I can express in photography is only the echo I feel through the experience of seeing something, whatever the subject may be. Therefore, it differs from actual reality. Just as my life becomes fiction once I start telling it, things transform into a different story once they are told. Photography is the same."
To commemorate the exhibition, a special display of collaborative works between Sarah Moon and Chanel Fine Jewelry will also be presented at the Chanel Ginza Boutique and Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo during the exhibition period. When you visit Ginza, be sure to stop by this exhibition.
