HYGGEHJØRNE is a portmanteau of the Danish words HYGGE (a feeling of comfortable conviviality and contentment) and HJØRNE (personal, one's own). It signifies a small, personal space. This exhibition merges the illustrations of Yu Nagaba, an artist celebrated for his simple line drawings featured on magazine covers like POPEYE and Tokyo Metro's etiquette posters, with Carl Hansen & Søn's furniture collection, presenting a main display that blends two and three dimensions.

The styling for areas beyond the main exhibition is curated by interior stylist Masato Kawai. His arrangements incorporate lighting from the British brand Anglepoise and products from the Danish brand Muuto, founded in 2014. These items, along with Yu Nagaba's artwork, will be available for purchase during the exhibition. This promises to be a must-see event during the autumn design week.
