What is the "paradise" reflected in photographer Naoki Ishikawa's lens?

The theme for the third installment of the lecture series "The Seven Continents" is the Ogasawara Islands. Taking 25.5 hours one way from the city center, the Ogasawara Islands, registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site last June, are currently the most talked-about "paradise." Ishikawa will introduce the islands' charms alongside his stunning photographs. He will be joined by guest Shiro Maeda, head of the theater company "Gotanda Dan," to explore the complex and long history of the islands through their respective "island experiences."

The venue is VACANT, a new cultural space in Harajuku, Tokyo. At ¥1,000, the price is refreshingly accessible. On Friday, February 17th, embark on a journey for the mind and curiosity, right from the heart of vibrant Tokyo.
