Photography and Patchwork Quilts: Experience a New "Ninagawa World"

A Riot of Flowers, Luxurious and Splendid──Photographer Mika Ninagawa, known for her distinctive worldview, has achieved widespread acclaim as one of Japan's leading photographers, working across a broad spectrum from magazine and advertising photography to film directing. Her greatest appeal lies in her rich and free use of color. An exhibition that evokes her roots, "Mika Ninagawa & Hiroko Ninagawa Exhibition," will be held at Laforet Museum Harajuku.

The works exhibited this time are a collaboration with her mother, patchwork quilt artist Hiroko Ninagawa. Her charming patchwork quilts, each stitch imbued with a sense of happiness, overflow with vivid "color."
