Midori Tsunoda was born in Tokyo in 1977. After graduating from Sophia University's Department of Russian Studies in 2000, she apprenticed under photographer Muga Miyagawa from 2002 to 2004. She is now a widely active female photographer, primarily working in magazines, advertisements, and CD covers.

Her solo exhibition is currently underway at Canon Gallery S in Shinagawa. As part of its initiative to convey the allure of photography to a broad audience, including young people and women, Canon planned "She's ~Three Photographers. Their Photo Exhibitions 2~" in 2015, a special exhibition featuring female advertising photographers across three consecutive periods. This exhibition is part of that series.

The venue displays works Tsunoda has gathered over a decade, inspired by her profound sense of beauty in intangible elements such as the soul, prayer, and divinity. Sixteen pieces, showcasing the mysterious beauty of grand nature printed with Canon's large-format printer "imagePROGRAF," are presented.

Tsunoda states, "I receive various messages from the Earth every day. I began capturing nature and everyday moments as they are, by receiving these messages." This exhibition allows visitors to feel her hymn to the planet.
