Acquire Select Artworks, From Renowned to Rising Stars
Born from the concept of "making art more accessible," WALLS TOKYO is a new style of gallery that sells contemporary art collected from around the world, much like a "select shop." With a wide selection ranging from established artists to emerging talents, they consistently curate original exhibitions.
This art exhibition, "SUPER JAPANISM -contemporary art," brings together Japanese artists active on the global stage. Featured artists include Tomokazu Matsuyama, who gained attention for his work at an event in Hong Kong's "Harbour City"; Shun Kawakami, who expresses Japanese aesthetics with a global perspective; and Kentaro Kobuke, currently based in London.
This exhibition also introduces emerging artists that WALLS TOKYO is watching. Don't miss the rise of the new generation, including Reku Yamaguchi, who held a solo exhibition at New York's "REED SPACE" and has been featured in media worldwide.
The art direction and design for the exhibition space are handled by "artless," a brand design consultancy headed by Shun Kawakami. Based in Tokyo, artless operates globally across genres including branding, design consulting, interactive design, film, architecture, and interiors. They have received numerous awards, including a Gold Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and are highly regarded internationally.
The curated collection of works, themed around Japan, is presented in an exhibition space designed for a flat, immersive viewing experience. In this environment, where one can engage deeply with creativity, you are likely to discover art that will add new richness to your life.
