Event Featuring Etsuko Yakushimaru and Others, March 21 (Sat.)

An event, “PARK NIGHT 2015: METEORITES,” where visitors can enjoy the latest art scene through works, films, and music, will be held on Saturday, March 21, at Park Hotel Tokyo. Participating artists, including Etsuko Yakushimaru of the popular band “Sōtaisei Riron,” have devised original cocktails using Campari. These will be available exclusively at the event venue.

“PARK NIGHT 2015: METEORITES” transforms the entire 25th floor of Park Hotel Tokyo into an artistic space with exhibitions, film screenings, and performances. Four artists with diverse backgrounds—led by Etsuko Yakushimaru, vocalist of the popular band Sōtaisei Riron, along with Yuko Mohri, Toshi Miyagi, and Ryosuke Ogino—have collaborated with Park Hotel Tokyo bartender Takayuki Suzuki to create original Campari cocktails, which will be served.

Performances will feature Toshiya Tsunoda, an artist who creates soundscapes inspired by environmental sounds; Nukeme Band, a five-member unit advocating for the “singularity connecting fashion and art”; and Fuyuki Yamakawa, a throat singer and active visual artist, who will energize the venue.

Throughout the venue, works by artist Takuya Yamashita, including the three-meter-tall sculpture “TALION no Ko,” will be exhibited. On the atrium walls, silent film works by contemporary Japanese artist Taro Izumi will be screened.

Although the event is for one day only, works by Etsuko Yakushimaru, Takuya Yamashita, and others will be on display until Sunday, March 29.
