Mitsuhiko Imori x Yoshitaka Haba Talk Show | New BMW GRAN TURISMO @ BMW Studio ONE 04

Chapter 10 Talk Show “Nature”

4th Talk Show: “Culture” – Mitsuhiko Imimori x Yoshitaka Haba 04

– To conclude, for this event, Mr. Haba selected books for each of the talk show guests. Mr. Imimori, what did you think of the books Mr. Haba chose for you?

ImimoriThey’re quite good. I’ve already read quite a few of them.

HabaI chose them imagining what kind of people might have influenced you, Mr. Imimori, through your own reading.

ImimoriThe Complete Works of Toshitaka Hidaka is excellent. I own it myself. Alfred R. Wallace’s The Malay Archipelago – you’ve chosen that one well, too. Yukio Tabuchi’s Butterflies of the Great Snow Mountains. I don’t own this one, but I’ve been greatly influenced by Yukio Tabuchi.

– Mr. Haba, what are your thoughts on this project?

HabaIt was incredibly interesting. Everyone involved is someone who commands a great deal of respect, and perhaps they’ve read even more books than I have. Honestly, creating a bookshelf for someone else is a challenging task, but I believe I offered my own suggestions.

– And so, our four-week BMW Talk Show series comes to an end today. All the guests were truly fascinating individuals with diverse perspectives on “sustainability.” I felt that maintaining a pure sense of curiosity, as you both have, Mr. Imimori and Mr. Haba, is also a path towards a sustainable way of life. Thank you both for a wonderful conversation today.

Imimori & HabaThank you.
