“JAMESON CULT FILM CLUB” to be Held on Friday, November 14th

A special event, “JAMESON CULT FILM CLUB,” where you can enjoy cult films with Irish whiskey “JAMESON,” will be held on Friday, November 14th, at “Weekend Garage Tokyo” in Daikanyama. This year’s selected film is Guy Ritchie’s 2000 film “Snatch,” starring a charismatic cast including Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, and Benicio del Toro.

Now in its third year, the “JAMESON CULT FILM CLUB” is a unique screening event that has garnered attention from film fans and whiskey drinkers alike. It offers the chance to watch cult films while sipping Jameson, followed by a party to savor the film’s atmosphere. Launched in Japan in 2012, previous screenings have included “Alien” and “The Silence of the Lambs.” Each event features spatial design with sets and costumes related to the film, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the movie’s world before and after the screening.

This year’s selection is “Snatch,” a high-speed crime action movie set in London, revolving around a chaotic scramble for an 86-carat diamond. Directed by Guy Ritchie and released in 2000, it features a stellar cast of unique actors including Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, and Benicio del Toro.

Applications are currently being accepted on Jameson’s Facebook page for the “JAMESON CULT FILM CLUB.” Fifty individuals will be selected by lottery and invited free of charge from those who apply by Sunday, November 9th.
