Today marks the final performance of Ryuichi Sakamoto Playing The Piano 2009.

The day has finally arrived!
The venue is the Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall. It's a hall that evokes a sense of history, befitting a final performance.
The Professor himself commented that it was 'very easy to perform in.'

So, what was the setlist for the final performance?
As usual, after transforming the venue into an 'out of noise' space in the first half,
the first piece played was 'koko.' Somehow, each song felt even more profound today.
Following that were deep cuts like 'fountain' and 'high heels'!
Could it be that each note resonated so deeply because it was the final performance?
Even after 24 performances, this tour never lost its freshness.
I believe that is truly remarkable.

The encore began with 'The Last Emperor.' The encores were quite extensive again today.
The latter half featured a succession of songs, including 'Behind the Mask,' that made the body naturally sway!
After 'thousand knives,' the Professor offered yet another encore.
Here, 'parolibre' was performed.

And then! Just when we thought it was over!
As the closing announcement played, the Professor returned to the stage!
Incredibly, 'aqua' was performed once more.
What's more, this performance had a special touch: a remarkably cool intro.

It was a wonderful final performance. All 24 shows have now concluded.
To the Professor, the tour crew family, and all the staff involved in this tour.
Thank you for your hard work!
