The Latest from Medicom Toy, Leading Toy Culture

The new product exhibition "MEDICOM TOY EXHIBITION '14" offers a glimpse into Medicom Toy's latest endeavors and creations, boasting unique sensibilities and exceptional craftsmanship that set them apart. This year's exhibition was once again held at PARCO MUSEUM on the 3rd floor of PARCO Part 1 in Shibuya.

BE@RBRICK Wall: A Full Wall of BE@RBRICKs

Upon entering the venue, visitors were greeted by a wall covered in "artistic toys" – BE@RBRICKs. Among the new BE@RBRICK releases, the BE@RBRICK Transformers particularly caught the eye. The four types of "BE@RBRICK × TRANSFORMERS" could be rotated 180 degrees from their Bearbrick mode, with their limbs and parts unfolding. Their high level of finish garnered significant attention.

Additionally, the ever-popular "Karimoku" collaboration featured wooden and "AMIREX" carbon versions in layered designs, alongside Kumamon BE@RBRICKs, showcasing a diverse range of exhibits.

Three Popular Dioramas Unveiled!

Last year, the diorama created using three figures – "RAH NEO Evangelion Unit-01," "RAH NEO Evangelion Unit-02," and "RAH NEO Evangelion Unit-00 (Modified)" – generated considerable buzz. This year, the new "Evangelion 13th Unit" from the "REAL ACTION HEROES" series, which achieves a quality akin to the anime's scenes through advanced crafting techniques, made its debut.

Furthermore, dioramas from "Attack on Titan" were displayed, along with "RAH MGM Maki Homura School Uniform Ver." and "RAH MGM Homura Akemi School Uniform Ver." from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica."

Other highlights included the "PERFECT POSING PRODUCTS" high-quality scale figures, which officially launched this year, the "Vinyl Collectible Dolls" offering a unique lineup, "ULTRA DETAIL FIGURE," and the "MAFEX" series, touted as the ultimate action figure series.

A Bright and Open Venue with White Walls

This year, the sales space was located at the back of the venue. Among the items available, the "BE@RBRICK Series 28," and the collaborations with American heat-resistant glass brand "Fire-King" – "BE@RBRICK Fire-King 100% WHITE / JADE-ITE" and "BE@RBRICK Fire-King 400% WHITE / JADE-ITE" – were extremely popular, praised for their exquisite representation of the milk glass material used for mugs.

The white walls created a more open atmosphere this year. Many fans were seen intently studying the details of the figures displayed on monitors mounted on the walls, reflecting the high anticipation for Medicom Toy's creations.

"CJ MART" and "FABRICK®" Corners Also Stand Out

The venue also featured corners for "FABRICK®," a textile goods brand focused on making life more enjoyable; "Sync.," which offers playful items that foster connections between artists and products; and "CJ MART," which promotes excellent Japanese products and content globally. These areas showcased the broader world of Medicom Toy beyond just figures.
