Macaron Day to Support Children with Serious Illnesses Held on the Summer Solstice
Pierre Hermé Paris will hold "Macaron Day," an event to support children battling serious illnesses, on June 21st (Saturday), the summer solstice. This year, Hello Kitty serves as the ambassador, with limited edition items and complimentary macarons being offered.

New "Rose Jasmine" Flavor Inspired by Kitty
Nine years ago, Pierre Hermé Paris launched "Macaron Day" with the aim of raising donations for children fighting serious illnesses in France. What began as a small initiative by Pierre Hermé himself in his boutiques has now become a cherished summer solstice tradition in Japan.
This year's ambassador is Hello Kitty, who is celebrating her 40th anniversary and enjoys global popularity. She will play a role in clearly explaining "Macaron Day" to people of all ages, from children to adults, and limited edition macaron gift sets will be sold.
On Macaron Day, June 21st (Saturday), donation boxes will be placed at the Aoyama boutique, along with complimentary macaron service. Additionally, from June 1st (Sunday) to June 21st (Saturday), a "Limited Edition 20 Assortment" (9,720 yen) in a special Hello Kitty package will be available at directly managed boutiques and online stores. This set includes 20 macarons, each with a different flavor, including "Rose Jasmine," a rose and jasmine flavor inspired by Kitty. A portion of the proceeds from the "All for Goodness" and limited gift boxes will be donated to the NPO Children's Illness Support Network Japan.
Macaron Day promises a carnival-like atmosphere with its colorful macarons. Let's welcome the beginning of summer with vibrant macarons, while keeping in mind the children battling serious illnesses.
