Cat Lovers Project "Cat’s ISSUE" Limited-Time Shop


"Cat’s ISSUE" is a project that conveys our "obsession" with cats alongside cat-loving creators, organized by "SUNDAY ISSUE," a gallery in Shibuya. Following the exhibition and the cat newspaper "The Cat’s Whiskers," a limited-time shop, "Cat’s ISSUE POP-UP STORE@ISETAN," will open on the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku to commemorate "Cat Day" on February 22, 2014.

Cat Lovers Gather at Isetan Shinjuku!


At the limited-time shop "Cat’s ISSUE POP-UP STORE@ISETAN," over 30 artists and brands, including contributors to the cat newspaper "The Cat’s Whiskers," will exhibit and sell original products themed around cats. Many limited-edition and collaboration items exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku will be available.


<SPECIAL FEATURE>

Gift: Isetan Exclusive "The Cat’s Whiskers EXTRA ISSUE" (Limited to 400 copies)

A gift for purchases of ¥5,250 or more at the "Cat’s ISSUE POP-UP STORE." Additionally, 25 pairs (50 people) will be invited to the "Cat LIVE & Talk" event on Saturday, February 22nd ("Cat Day"), featuring Miyu Sakamoto and Kazutaka Kunihiro.

The artist will handcraft custom cushions and accessories from submitted cat photo data.


Sale of Cat’s ISSUE Engraved Scratching Posts; Cat Images Posted in Store

Prototypes of original "scratching post cases" are also planned for display.


PAUL & JOE SISTER Collaboration Orders

Orders will be taken for collaboration T-shirts and socks with PAUL & JOE SISTER, featuring Saba-mi, the beloved cat of Miyu Sakamoto, known for her "cat-sniffing" advocacy (scheduled for delivery from April 10th onwards).


"Cat’s ISSUE" Special Online Store Opens

A "Cat’s ISSUE" special online store, in collaboration with BASE, a free web service for shop management, will also open simultaneously. Original items and one-of-a-kind pieces can be ordered.


Cat’s ISSUE x Ayako Ishiguro "Bake-neko" (Monster Cat) Fan Exhibition

An exhibition and sale of "Bake-neko" fans by Ayako Ishiguro, known for her illustrations of yokai and mythical creatures, will be held.
