Four Days to Discover a New Switzerland, Packed with Unique Attractions

Since signing the Treaty of Amity and Commerce on February 6, 1864, Japan and Switzerland have strengthened their friendly relations and developed economic exchanges across various fields. In 2014, the anniversary year of their 150 years of diplomatic ties, a variety of cultural events, including symposia and science and technology conferences/seminars, are planned throughout the year to further enhance their friendly relationship.


The official opening event, "Swiss Days," will fully utilize Roppongi Hills Arena to showcase the charms of Switzerland.


The stage will feature live performances by Swiss artists from various genres and a demonstration of Swiss wrestling, "Schwingen." In the evenings, a powerful show utilizing 3D projection mapping and LED lights will be presented on a giant screen installed on the stage.

The Food & Beverage corner will offer aromatic coffee, as well as representative Swiss dishes and wines that are rarely available in Japan. Furthermore, globally renowned Swiss companies will set up booths, captivating visitors with unique attractions.


These four fulfilling days offer an opportunity to encounter a new Switzerland that you couldn't experience without visiting. Come and savor contemporary Switzerland.
