Announcing the "Naoshima Art: 20 Years of Progress" Talk Series!

The title of the 20th-anniversary project, "SEISEI" (生成), derives from the meaning "things coming into being and changing." It embodies our aspiration to look back at the past while forging ahead to create new value in this place, now and for the future.



Each event will feature artists, architects, and specialists from various fields who have been deeply involved in and dedicated to the art initiatives. They will explore the significance of Benesse Art Site Naoshima's activities within the local community, tracing its 20-year trajectory.



Beginning this November, under the title "Naoshima Art: 20 Years of Progress," we will host a series of talks with distinguished speakers, delving into the origins of Benesse Art Site Naoshima and its artistic endeavors on the island.
