Ibiza is often associated with "foam parties" and "mega-clubs," but there are actually many places where you can enjoy music in various styles. This time, we invited HIDEYO BLACKMOON, an artist who is even more of an Ibiza expert than I am, has released an album from an Ibiza label, and is active worldwide, to guide us through a special Ibiza.

Ibiza: An Island That Inspires Creativity
For me, Ibiza's charm lies in its rich lifestyle. It's no wonder that many people who have traveled the world settle here. I've tried living in countries that caught my eye, but in the end, I've been spending half my life here in Ibiza for the past five or six years.
The beauty of Ibiza's sea is exceptional! Its transparent, deep blue has an unparalleled allure that draws us in. You can enjoy its blueness even in the shallows, but I recommend taking a boat out to sea and diving in. The deep, clear blue will envelop you, offering the ultimate in relaxation.
Life on Ibiza, surrounded by beautiful seas, pine trees, and olive groves, is generally relaxed. While not quite the same as in the city, there's "Ibiza fashion," "the latest music," "parties for adults to enjoy," and "sophisticated dining based on Mediterranean cuisine." During the off-season from November to April, when the tourist crowds thin out, you can stay warm indoors and quietly focus on your creativity. It's the perfect place for artists and musicians. This time, I'll introduce some music projects curated by my friends.

The Beach Restaurant 'SANDS,' Opened This Summer
'SANDS' offers delicious Japanese-inspired cuisine, with a chef dispatched from Japan. With palates attuned to Japanese tastes, they create innovative Japanese flavors using ingredients available in Ibiza, making it entirely different from typical Japanese restaurants abroad. Dishes like "seared salmon sushi," salads with Spanish Iberico ham, "teppanyaki," "yakitori," and "omurice" have been hits, proving fresh even to Europeans.
With a DJ booth, it also becomes a cool beach party spot for locals on weekends. 'SANDS,' Ibiza's new landmark, is open until September 15th this season and will reopen from June next season.

The Group 'ZENSES' That Turns 'Food' into Art & Healing Methods
'ZENSES' is a beautiful group of women, primarily raw food chefs. Based on the philosophy that "people are made by what they eat," they perceive eating as a ritual, art, and healing, offering their services in various settings and forms. The elaborate presentations, designed to engage all five senses, could be described as an "Ibiza-style modern version of the Japanese tea ceremony." One of the workshops offered to guests is a program called "Ibiza Retreat," which involves moving between different sections for unique meditation exercises. Live musicians provide meditative background music, and light raw food snacks and drinks are served at each stage. This new form of "food & healing, spiritual & art" is possible in Ibiza, a place where people from all walks of life—from the wealthy to hippies, businessmen, and artists—can gather without barriers.

Music & Video Studio 'SOUND FARM STUDIO IBIZA'
'SOUND FARM STUDIO IBIZA' is a studio established last year by a world-renowned DJ/musician active in the electronic music scene. It features a main control room and three recording booths, allowing a band to play and record simultaneously with each member in their own booth. Musicians typically use these individual booths for their music production.
The studio is located in the northern part of Ibiza, in San Miguel, surrounded by pine forests. Musicians and producers can visit as a group, stay in a spacious villa, take a break at a beach about a 10-minute drive away in the evening, and then return to the studio. This style of stay is possible here.
With a mastering studio also on the island, a music production trip to the inspiration-filled Ibiza would be a luxurious experience. This is another unique offering of Ibiza, a hub for music!
The studio also offers music production courses taught by top active artists, attracting attention from party lovers worldwide. As I am also involved as a coordinator for S.F.S. IBIZA, Japanese language support is available.

Began his professional music career in the late 1990s. Since 2001, he has been active worldwide, performing at major festivals. There, he met Ibiza-based artist Lenny Ibizarre, who invited him to Ibiza for the first time in 2002. This led him to establish his base in Tokyo and Ibiza, where he now works as a DJ and music producer. In 2009, he released his first album, "Blackmoon," a culmination of his vocal work. He is also a member of the studio "SFS Ibiza," led by Max Lanfranconi (known as "Etnica"), and has been active there since its establishment last year, producing chill-out CDs for clubs like PACHA and MACAO CAFE.
