In Shiseido's Ginza Photo Studio, alongside your elegantly dressed dog

The "With Dog Photo Plan," which allows you to be photographed with your dog, includes Shiseido's signature hair and makeup service. After check-in, you'll be transformed by the hair and makeup artists at the Beauty Boost Bar on the second floor. For men, it's a novel experience to have skincare followed by eyebrow grooming. I chose a vibrant orange coat from "FUJITO," a brand I've recently favored.

Once your hair and makeup are complete, you'll move to the adjacent Shiseido Photo Studio. With guidance on posing and expressions from the photographer, you'll be photographed in various poses. Your hair and makeup artist will also be present. After the shoot, you'll select your favorite shot from the many taken, in consultation with the photographer, and prints will be mailed to you the following day or later.



Yuko Masushio of The Ginza, the originator of this "With Dog Photo Plan," explains, "The photo sessions are held twice a month, on the first and eleventh days – 'one' and 'eleven' sounding like 'wan' and 'wanwan' in Japanese, like a dog's bark. Many people come to the Shiseido Photo Studio for family portraits, and since dogs are also important family members, we had been considering a plan like this for some time. While many animal photography sessions are cute and whimsical, we wanted to create 'cool' and 'beautiful' photos, uniquely Shiseido, hence the photo plan with hair and makeup."

Original goods, elegantly styled in a Ginza fashion, are also available for complimentary use during the shoot. These are a collaboration between "Buhix," a popular brand known for its high design and quality, and Noritoshi Nishioka, curator of goods at SHISEIDO THE GINZA 1F Beauty Marché, adding another layer of originality to your photos.
