The theme is "breasts."

Let's reclaim our love and memories of breasts.
ART PICNIC, held under the theme of "enjoying art as if going on a picnic," is now in its ninth iteration. This time, a stellar lineup of artists will exhibit works inspired by the theme of "breasts." A comment has arrived fromShigeichi Kuwabarathe organizer of Club King.

"Peace through breasts. Let's all get along through breasts. ART PICNIC, the 9th installment: 'Breasts.' Everyone's life was nurtured by their mother's breasts. Breasts are a mother's blood. Whether small, large, flat, or sagging, breasts know no distinction or discrimination. Breastfeeding was a transfusion from mother. That's why we loved breasts."

"In an era where we find ourselves frowning, an era where laughter has disappeared, an era where we share and understand limited things and different values, it is breasts that bring us smiles. Now is the time to reclaim our love and memories of breasts. Indeed, 'breasts' are humanity's treasure. While alive, I want to shout once more that I love breasts. And I want to play to our hearts' content at ART PICNIC with those who love breasts. Please join ART PICNIC, the 9th installment: 'Peace through Breasts.'"
Shigeichi Kuwabara

The opening party on Saturday, September 28th, titled "Film, Food, and Breasts," will be a day to contemplate and gather around food that begins with breasts. This is a collaborative event related to "Tokyo Gourmet Film Festival," a hybrid event that enjoys films and food related to cuisine. Starting in early October, a rotating lunch menu recreating dishes from the film festival's screening works will be available weekly at the adjacent Kannobashi Shokudo.

Many of the artists participating in the project are expected to attend the party. A relay of 45rpm single records, brought by artists and music lovers unique to Club King, will be available for listening and DJ play. Additionally, experimental initiatives will be undertaken, such as arranging artworks scheduled for exhibition onto 7-inch jacket-sized paper.
