Two Men Whose Lifelong Pursuit is Exploring Japanese Cities
This talk show is held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of "52," a popular select shop for women's fashion, which carries brands like Margaret Howell and Arts & Science, and was designed by architectMakoto TanijiriThis talk show, held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the popular women's select shop "52," designed by architect Makoto Tanijiri, will offer a highly personal guide to Shizuoka through the perspectives of Hitoshi Okamoto and Takashi Kato.
Takashi Kato says, "This will be a highly personal guide to Shizuoka from our extremely subjective viewpoints as two people living in Tokyo. Okamoto-san's Shizuoka guide is featured in the latest issue of Kurashi no Techo, in his serial column 'Today's Shopping,' released on May 25th. I recently helped compile and edit 'Our East Tokyo Guide,' published by Landscape Products. Doesn't a 'highly personal Shizuoka guide' from two people who make exploring cities across Japan their lifelong pursuit sound interesting?"
Following the talk show, an after-party will offer drinks, local Shizuoka delicacies, and a chance to enjoy "Secret: Today's Shopping."
