Sharing the Charm of Paris Alongside Treasures Found at Flea Markets

The "Paris Flea Market Stroll in GALLERY MUVEIL" event will feature a curated selection of vintage goods, primarily accessories and miscellaneous items, chosen by flea market specialist Tomoaki Shimizu. These items are directly sourced from Paris flea markets and delivered to GALLERY MUVEIL. Several stuffed animals, from Shimizu's collection – for which he is also well-known as a collector – are also expected to be on display.



Tomoaki SHIMIZU
After graduating from university in 1994, he moved to France and enrolled in Studio Berçot the same year. He gained experience through internships at Lanvin and Kenzo. Around this time, he began frequenting flea markets, collecting lace and beads to create objets d'art. In approximately 1998, he started collecting and restoring stuffed animals.
