Marble Polishing Workshops and Talk Events Also Planned

Founded in Gifu Prefecture in 1951, Sekigahara Stone has supplied stones from around the world to architects and major construction companies, contributing to the exterior and interior design of commercial facilities and office buildings. While handling stones from various countries, the company launched “HELLO STONE PROJECT” in 2015 to promote their intrinsic beauty.



The exhibition “What If We Had Stones in Our Lives?” hosted by this project marks the launch of the stone-based product brand “ISHIZO.” With the concept of “experiencing the charm of stone within 1 meter of your daily life,” the brand has developed unique stone products such as pen holders, stacking stones, and bookends using stones from around the world. The collection features simple and sophisticated designs.

During the exhibition, there will also be a “Marble Polishing Workshop” and talk events featuring guests such as Yoko Kawashima (Director, ifs Future Lab) and Shinichiro Nakamura (Founder, Landscape Products), and Takeo Okuma (CLASKA). Through this project, which aims to “polish people and their lives with stone,” why not take this opportunity to rediscover the allure of stone?
